CEDIA 2025

Sonance and our family of brands, which include James, IPORT, TRUFIG, and Blaze, had plenty to introduce at CEDIA Expo/CIX in Denver, Colorado this September 4-6. Booth #3501 featured product showcases, live demonstrations, and an updated Sonance Design Gallery that gave dealers fresh ideas for future projects.


Immersive Sonance Experience

Always a favorite at CEDIA, the Sonance Experience once again drew crowds. This year introduced a new theme, designing for comfort and layering audio, showcasing how hidden technology elevates experiences at home. Featured products included the James Small Aperture SA68s, the redesigned James PowerPipe X12s, and the all-Invisible IS6s for immersive channels, all powered by the new Blaze amplifiers.

Reimagining Audio

In a recent interview with CEPro, Jason Sloan, Chief Revenue Officer at Sonance, shared the vision behind this year’s showcase:

''At Sonance, our guiding belief is simple: Life is Better with Music. That philosophy will shape everything we showcase at CEDIA Expo 2025. The theme of our exhibit is reimagining what audio can be. To show that when you hide technology, you reveal the experience. Demonstrating how seamlessly integrated audio can transform any environment from functional to extraordinary.

Rather than simply adding more speakers, our approach is about designing for comfort by layering elements, making music feel like a natural part of the space. That’s the story we’re excited to share with dealers: how hidden audio not only preserves design but unlocks deeper emotional and functional value for clients."

CEDIA Educational Sessions

Sonance contributed to the show with four engaging panel discussions. Leading one discussion on the CEDIA Smart Stage, Sonance CEO, Ari Supran, shared insights on how AI is shaping the future of the integration industry. Ari also presented in two additional panel sessions: “The Latest on AI” and “Hands-On with AI.” Sonance supported the Invisible Innovation panel with Mike Cleary, Senior Director of Strategic Accounts, sharing the Sonance Designed to Disappear strategy and the solutions that help hide technology.

New product announcements

Sonance debuted a host of new products at CEDIA. The new solutions extended across brands and categories, including the residentially-focused ultra-compact UA Series DSP amplifiers, two important professional product series additions, new IPORT LUXE, and several newly reimagined James models.

UA SERIES AMPLIFIERS

Sonance introduced the highly anticipated new UA Series amplifiers which includes a standard digital model (UA 2-125), and an ARC enabled model (UA 2-125 ARC), for great application flexibility. The amps have a unique 20mm standard T-slot chassis design which provides an efficient heatsink and highly flexible mounting options using many universal accessories. UA Series amplifiers are now shipping!

Sonance Design Awards

2025 Winners Announced at Cedia

With over 60 entries, this year's Sonance Design Awards was our most competitive race to date. Sonance dealers continue to deliver the Designed to Disappear strategy to unlock experiences for their clients and our team continues to find inspiration from these and many other outstanding projects. We welcome entries all year long with residential projects contending for a win each year at CEDIA, and Professional projects now scheduled to be announced each year at InfoComm. Congratulations to this year's winners! We look forward to showcasing these award-winning projects very soon!
