James EMB subwoofers leverage our James Energy Multiplying Bandpass technology to obtain high output and low distortion from a compact enclosure. The subwoofers are crafted from solid aluminum to eliminate resonance. Each model is built with aluminum drivers and aluminum passive radiators, mounted coaxially within each enclosure. EMB subwoofers are passive and we recommend pairing them with Sonance DSP amplifiers for maximum performance. Their design delivers lower distortion, smoother frequency response, and greater bass extension than conventional designs.
