Award Winning Invisible Application
For this project in Indianola, Iowa, Sonance dealer VIBES executed a transformative application of Sonance Invisible speakers.
The vision for the Bridlewood Estate was simple, produce extraordinary sound, without compromising extraordinary architecture. Throughout the home, every audio decision was made with the same objective, to create an immersive, high performance listening experience that feels present everywhere, while allowing the technology itself to disappear into the design.
The solution was anchored by the award-winning Sonance Invisible Series Speakers and Invisible Series Subwoofers seamlessly integrated to deliver immersive, design-forward audio. In areas where visible speakers where required, additional speakers from the Visual Experience Series were utilized. VX loudspeakers were custom painted to the designer's specifications allowing the speakers to complement the space.

The Sonance Design Awards recognize dealers for exceptional achievements in implementing the Sonance "Designed to Disappear" philosophy through outstanding sales performance and innovative project designs.
The Best Application: Invisible Series Award honors the dealer whose project demonstrates the best implementation of Sonance Invisible Series products.
VIBES leveraged Invisible Series to deliver an experience where the home's architecture and design elements were the visual priority. When surfaces were designed with intention, VIBES selected the solution to unlock an enhanced experience while honoring the aesthetic.

DESIGNED TO DISAPPEAR
Despite the scale and performance of the system, there are no visible speakers competing with the architecture. The entire audio system disappears behind the finished surfaces. In the kitchen and great room, Sonance IS speakers provide even, room-filling sound while preserving the clean architectural lines of the home’s most-used gathering spaces.
Speakers for Dedicated Cinema
The dedicated theater room demonstrates how the same designed to disappear philosophy carries into a cinematic environment. Two Sonance VX66LCR loudspeakers are concealed behind the projection screen, complemented by two VX66R in-ceiling loudspeakers. The visible elements were carefully integrated with the room’s finishes so that attention remains exactly where it belongs, on the experience.
Outside, four Sonance Extreme Series loudspeakers extend the experience to the patio. Each visible loudspeaker was custom finished to complement its surroundings, allowing high-performance outdoor audio to become part of the architecture rather than an addition to it.
