Country Club of the South brings design and technology together in an expansive 18,000-square-foot residence built for entertaining, both indoors and out.
Designed by Smith Hanes Studio and built by Ladisic Fine Homes, the home called for technology that would support the experience without competing with the architecture. With small-aperture lighting already incorporated throughout the interiors, Sonance dealer GHT Group selected James Small Aperture SA63 speakers to deliver high-performance audio while maintaining the home’s clean, refined aesthetic.

This year, GHT Group is recognized with the Best Application: Small Aperture Award for their remarkable use of James Small Aperture speakers in a luxury residence.

Throughout the residence, more than 100 James Small Aperture speakers provide consistent coverage across kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, entertaining spaces, and more. Outside, Sonance Landscape Series speakers and subwoofers extend the same experience across the pool, cabana, outdoor kitchen, patio, picnic area, and firepit.
The result is a home where music feels ever-present, but the technology behind it remains almost entirely out of sight.
The experience continues outside
The audio system extends seamlessly into the backyard, connecting the pool and cabana, outdoor kitchen and bar, patio, picnic area, and firepit as one expansive entertainment space. Sonance LS6T satellite speakers and LS12T subwoofers are discreetly integrated throughout the landscaping, creating powerful, even outdoor sound without interrupting the view.
