Award Winning Invisible Application
For this 11,000-square-foot estate, the Turnberry Way project, in San Antonio, TX, Sonance dealer Dominion Design and Integration executed a transformative remodel. The estate was taken down to the studs and reimagined with a formal aesthetic rooted in craftsmanship. Floor-to-ceiling judges panels, barreled and coffered ceilings, and hand-laid moldings give the home a timeless, intentional feel.
The homeowner envisioned a seamless interior—visually free of technology yet filled with world-class audio. To achieve this, Dominion worked closely with the interior designer, trim carpenters, and lighting specialists to integrate premium audio into every room in a way that felt natural, undetectable, and uncompromising.
The solution was anchored by the award-winning Sonance Invisible Series, seamlessly integrated to deliver immersive, design-forward audio. Complementing this foundation were additional Sonance and James solutions including Small Aperture Series, PowerPipe subwoofers, Landscape Series, BE Reference, and Maverick Series subwoofers to deliver both performance and design.
This project was honored with the Sonance 2025 Best Application: Invisible Series Award for its exceptional integration of Sonance Invisible Series.

Dominion Design and Integration leveraged Invisible Series to deliver the experience where the home's architecture and design elements were the visual priority. When surfaces were designed with intention, Dominion selected the solution to unlock an enhanced experience while honoring the aesthetic.

DESIGNED TO DISAPPEAR
The Dominion team prescribed solutions for each space, using the room details and finishes as a guide. With stunning trims and molding lining the ceilings in many rooms, Sonance Invisible Series played a critical role to bring even, balanced audio coverage that could blend into the surfaces without a hint of visibility.
Turnberry Way also features rooms with beautiful hand-laid oak ceilings where Invisible Series speakers could not be deployed. For these spaces, Dominion selected James Small Aperture Series speakers with painted grilles to match the surface.
A CINEMA EXPERIENCE WITH A CASUAL VIBE
When outfitting the high-performance TV room, Dominion selected cinema-grade James BE Series speakers and James Maverick subwoofers to complement the impressive 165" Sony Crystal LED panel. They designed each space with intention to ensure all the performance and design with no visual distraction.
