Sonance, the pioneer of architectural audio, today announced the James by Sonance Natural Collection: a new line of on-wall speakers handcrafted in Minden, Nevada from premium materials and designed to complement the material language of the rooms they live in.
The Natural Collection is a James by Sonance product; part of Sonance’s premium product line crafted in Minden, Nevada for spaces where every design detail is specified with intention. Where Sonance’s in-ceiling and in-wall speakers are designed to disappear into the architecture and the room elements, James Natural Collection is designed for the room: visible by design and built with the material specificity and expanded finish range that design-forward rooms require. Built around the philosophy of “Designed for the Room,” the Natural Collection brings a natural wood aesthetic to on-wall audio, offering homeowners, architects, and interior designers a speaker that earns its place in a designed space rather than asking forgiveness for being there.
Refined Wood Construction. Five Designer-Selected Finishes.
Every speaker in the Natural Collection is hand-built with a premium wood finish, delivering the warmth and texture of natural wood with the dimensional stability required for long-term performance. Modern Brown and Modern Teak feature genuine real wood veneer, offering an authentic natural finish that responds to light and environment the way only real wood can. Modern White, Black, and Sand Gold are finished in painted wood with a clean, consistent surface designed to integrate seamlessly into any designed environment.
The result is a collection of five finishes chosen not for breadth, but for relevance: each option maps to the way architects and interior designers actually build rooms.
Taking cues from The Frame.
The Natural Collection is available in two orientations: HTL (Horizontal Thin-Line) and VTL (Vertical Thin-Line), each sized in a standard speaker footprint, or to align precisely with the dimensions of 55”, 65”, 75”, and 85” 2026 Samsung Frame TV displays. Natural Collection HTL models match display width, creating a seamless horizontal band of audio below the screen. VTL models match display height, flanking the screen with a clean vertical presence that feels native to the wall.
For installations where display matching isn’t required, both models are available in minimum dimension: 19.75” for the NC3 and 23.25” for the NC5QT.
Two Performance Levels and a Matching Subwoofer.
The Natural Collection is offered in two speaker performances. The NC3 features a 3.5” shallow depth thin-line waveguide driver and aluminum tweeter, purpose-built for refined, low-profile applications. The NC5QT steps up to a 5.25” shallow depth driver paired with the James Quadratech tweeter for expanded performance in larger spaces. Both the NC3 and NC5QT speaker formats are 2” deep to fit a low profile when mounted beside hanging artwork or sleek TV displays.
The Natural Collection subwoofer, NC10-SUB, completes the system. A 10” subwoofer available in all five Natural Collection finishes, the NC10-SUB adds fuller sound, deeper bass, and a richer listening experience to any NC3 or NC5QT installation. It can be mounted on the wall, placed on a pedestal, or laid flat under furniture to fit the placement needs of the space.
HTL soundbar models are available in single, 2-channel, and 3-channel configurations. VTL models are single-channel. Both orientations and both performance levels are available across the full range of dimension-matched sizes to complement Samsung Frame TV or other brand TV models.
Grille options across the full Natural Collection include nine fabric colors to complement any room palette, or the Designer Grille Frame: a fabric-ready grille to add your own fabric and match the room exactly.

James by Sonance Natural Collection speakers and subwoofers are open for preorder beginning today to authorized Sonance dealers located in the Americas. The Natural Collection is expected to launch to global Sonance customers in Q1, 2027.
