SONANCE AT CEDIA 2024

We had an incredible time at CEDIA in Denver for this year's expo. We had thousands of attendees swing through the booth to discover our brands, reconnect with our team, and take in our new demo.

Our latest experience demo in the booth showcased Sonance Visual Experience, a NEW Sonance Small Aperture speaker, and Invisible Series with a powerful message and strategy around making spaces comfortable through the appropriate implementation of key elements. The demo highlighted temperature, design, lighting, and audio as ways to influence the comfort of a space, leveraging lighting and audio to land the message.

The takeaway for most dealers was the impressive range and performance of the new Small Aperture model and the experience of adding immersive channels low in the room. As far as show floor demo experiences go, we are very proud and impressed with the feedback from those who went through it.

Cedia Awards

Sonance was honored to have received a handful of awards during the show, receiving TWO CEDIA awards, a rAVE Pubs Best of CEDIA Award, and THREE awards from the Technology Designer Performance Home Awards. This recognition fuels our desire to continue to drive ourselves and the industry forward and to serve our customers each and every day.

CEDIA Award for Business Excellence

Sonance was awarded the Award for Business Excellence by CEDIA, an honor that sets our brand above the rest. The award is measured across multiple business aspects, drilling into business growth and sustainability, innovation and adaptability, social responsibility, employee engagement, and industry leadership. We are thrilled for this massive distinction among our industry peers. Thank you to CEDIA and our loyal partners, the best dealers in the industry.

Product Awards

Growing in the Professional Channel

Morten Jorgensen | VP Sonance Professional

We’ve relaunched our commercial brand under the new name, Sonance Professional, clearly differentiating between our commercial and residential markets. As part of this transition, our team is expanding, and we’re excited to welcome Morten Jorgensen as Vice President of Sonance Professional and Glen Kalanowski as Director of Sales and Strategic Partnerships.

With decades of experience across brands, including leadership roles at Bose Professional and Harman, their expertise will propel our professional category forward, sharpening our focus on expanding our global presence. The team will now have an international scope, managing markets beyond the U.S., with Sonance Professional defining premium-quality 70V/100V solutions. We are thrilled to have them on board.

Sonance in Marine

Our Marine team recently participated in the Monaco Yacht Show, where Goran and Adrian supported our partners and showcased the comprehensive marine solutions from Sonance and James. At the show, Goran was interviewed by superyachts.com to discuss the impact of Sonance and James audio solutions on the Super Yacht community. We’ll also be attending the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show in October and the METS Show in Amsterdam this November.
