    Dana Innovations, parent company of Sonance, iPort and TRUFIG, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Sloan to Chief Sales Officer. In his new role, Jason is responsible for overseeing sales of all Dana Innovations brands worldwide.

  • 2010-01-21 On-screen Menu Navigation Debuts on New iPort FS-23

    iPort® has announced its newest model featuring on-screen menu navigation. The iPort FS-23, the third model in iPort’s Freestanding Series of digital media systems for the iPod, provides users with a smooth and elegant on-screen navigation experience with most iPod models including the iPod touch®.

    Easy to use, the FS-23’s on-screen menu is controlled by an included IR remote control; the IR codes can also be programmed into compatible third-party learning remotes. iPod metadata for artist, song, album, and playback time information, along with high-quality replication of cover art, are displayed on any compatible TV via a component-video and stereo audio connection. The menu system allows users to control the music and video menus as well as various configurations such as screen saver activation and the iPod’s repeat, shuffle and equalizer settings.

  • 2009-10-14 Sonance Promotes Patrick McGaughan to Chief Operating Officer

    Sonance, the technology leader that introduced the world’s first in-wall loudspeaker, has announced the promotion of Patrick McGaughan to the post of Chief Operating Officer.

    McGaughan joined Sonance in May of 2007 as Chief Financial Officer and will now expand his leadership role to assume responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operations. McGaughan’s responsibilities include finance, administrative, operations, and business planning and he brings a wide range of expertise in functional areas such as supply chain management and process improvement programs to his new role. In addition, he will retain the Chief Financial Officer responsibilities.
